Our baby is 1

We can't believe it! Our baby turned 1 on August 26th! Oh, she is growing up so fast! We feel so blessed to have Seneca a part of our family. We love her so much! We are so grateful for our Heavenly Father who blessed us with such a wonderful gift!

Seneca is learning how to make all sorts of sounds. One of her favorites is a fish. So we decided to go with a Fish theme for her party. I made her a fish cake and...
Fish cupcakes
Here is a better shot of her cake.
She is crawling around like a mad-woman...she is FAST!

Our Road-Trip Home

We had such a great time this summer in Philadelphia! We were able to explore so much and meet so many wonderful people! Here are some pictures documenting our trip home. Our first stop was to Harbor Springs, Michigan. This is where Seneca's tribe was hosting their annual pow-wow! This was such an amazing experience for us! Seneca belongs to the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians. Here are some amazing pictures of the regalia.

Our sleeping baby...
We gratefully stopped in Rochester, Minnesota to stay with Matt's cousin Eric and their family. This was a very nice stop before heading to Mount Rushmore. Thanks Bryans!
...then to Crazy Horse
....Yellowstone
Seneca had a hard time sleeping in the car. So, to get her to fall asleep we put up a blanket so she wouldn't be able to see us...well...she is very smart!
She figured how to pull the blanket up...:)

We made it home....this is how she sleeps in her crib. So cute!

Snuggles on Camera

Seneca NEVER snuggles! So after church on Sunday she was exhausted because she had missed her morning nap. She fell asleep in the car in less than 10 minutes. So, when we got her out of the car she was very snugly. I love it! So cute!

Date Night!

Matt received the best tickets to last weekends game from work. We were right behind home plate!! So awesome and so much fun! This was our only second date night all summer so we were very excited to have some one-on-one time.
Crab Fries are the BEST!

More Family Bonding Time

After mom and Ray left, my dad flew in to visit us as well! We have had such a wonderful time spending time with my parents! I am so glad they we able to visit! It was such a treat! Here are some pictures from my dad's visit.

In the museum they were featuring Matisse. My dad was very excited to see his artwork. My dad was born and raised in southern France; Brignol.
