Joyeux Noel!

We would like to take a moment and wish you all a Merry Christmas! We apologize for not sending cards again this year, but finances are tight as we begin to finish our last four months of business school! So, next year, we promise to send out fun cards!

This year has been a great, yet busy year for us. We started out with the adoption, sealing and blessing of our dear, Seneca! We cannot say enough about how blessed we are to have her be a part of our family! We absolutely love her! She is 16 months old and growing very fast! She loves to dance, play the piano, recorder, read books, and talk either through making sounds, small words or sign language. She also loves to climb and run away from mom...he...he...she is very independent! :)

Matt was blessed with amazing grades last year ending up in the top 10% of his class (he is going to be mad I said this). He fulfilled a great internship with Johnson & Johnson over the summer in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. While working here our family was able to see so much of our country---New Jersey, New York, DC/MD, Michigan (attended Seneca's tribal pow-wow), Wisconsin, Minnesota (visited Matt's cousin), South Dakota (Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse), and Wyoming   (Yellowstone). Most recently, Matt finished his 3rd semester of school. This was a very busy semester for him as he was taking 21 units of school work, vigorously looking for employment, holding down a part-time job while being a husband and father! During his last semester of school, he hopes to have a lighter load so that he can focus his energy on finding employment. One thing Matt is also doing is he will be running in a 1/2 marathon in March! I think it's in Moab, Utah....I am so proud of him!

As for me....I am totally enjoying every minute I get to spend with Seneca! She is so much fun to be around! She loves making cookies with mommy...or should I say eating cookie dough! She is definitely my girl! Besides spending time with Seneca, I teach yoga 2-3 days a week at the local recreation center! I am thoroughly enjoying this time--I love to teach! I love the clientele and just being able to exercise has been a huge bonus for me mentally and physically. I'm also involved in the MBA spouses association planning educational activities and events (i.e., parenting class, quilting, book club, cooking class, etc.). This is something I also love to do! I've learned so much being a part of this organization...I'm making a quilt....reading books each month for book club and much much more! The best; however, is meeting these amazing women who totally know everything! I love it!

As for our family we have decided to go through the adoption process again! We are very excited! Once we are approved, we will be sure to let you all know! Also, please keep us in your prayers as we try to determine where the Lord would have us serve when Matt finishes school!

We love you all and are so grateful for wonderful family members and friends! Please enjoy this time of year as we reflect on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

With all of our love,

Matt, Mesia & Seneca
