What have we been up to?

It's been a couple of weeks since I've updated our blog. This is what we've been up to...

Over the February break, we went sledding with Seni' friend at Ancelle. She absolutely LOVES playing (eating) the snow!

My dad came into town for a visit. We spent a few days with mamie et papi near the coast.

Went to Nice for the weekend. I love the picture of the biker with three baguettes in his water pouches. Very clever!

More.... La Foux d'Allos

We couldn't get enough the first time, so we decided to head up the mountains again nearby us. This time to La Foux d'Allos with another set of buddies! They insisted this was the greatest place for children attending ski school. We took their word for it and headed up for the day.

Seneca rocked it! She loved her ski class....we were so glad! Go Seni! And....La Foux d'Allos was a beautiful moutain! Thanks buddies!

Saint Sorlin d'Arves

Just after Christmas we quickly headed to the mountains; Saint Sorlin d'Arves with some friends! This place was just breathtaking.

From the moment we got there, Seneca's face was always in the snow! The girl loves to eat that stuff! I had to quickly educate her on the difference between yellow and white snow after noticing her head in a pile of yellow snow--yuck! 

The bottom middle picture was a picture of our lodging. We were in a 1.5 bedroom apartment. It was a great set up for our families; although the bar just below was a bit tough for sleeping...he..he!

Christmas Celebration!

For Christmas Eve, we re-enacted the story of the birth of Jesus. Seneca LOVES to play Mary. So, here she is "with child" in her tummy while I was chosen to be her donkey and dad was Joseph.

Ecole de Cirque

Seneca was invited to participate in "une ecole de cirque" (circus school) with our neighbor. She LOVED IT!

Homemade Raviolis!

An annual Christmas tradition in my family is making homemade raviolis. This is my favorite tradition!--so we made some today.
