Fete de St. Marcel-Barjols

In January we went to the village of Barjols to check out their Fete de St. Marcel. The town's patron saint. This festival commemorates the survival of the town after a siege in 1350.
This town is also known for their tanneries. After 400 years, in 1983 they finally stopped producing.

Champignon fountain.

My hot babe and baby!

Another view of the town while walking around.

The parade

Poor ox he was supposed to be slaughtered and roasted the next day. (I hope they really didn't do this). He even has gold painted horns and hoofs.
