In September, my side of the family got together in Lucca. This was such a wonderful experience! Besides playing in the garden and laying out by the pool, my favorite part of this trip was the site seeing. Many of my relatives are from this region of Italy. My grandfather was born in Massa and many of my family members worked in the marble quarry. And, my great-grand-mother was born in Lucca. Such a fun family history trip!

It's so wonderful to see all of your family together and your cute daughter. It was especially nice to see Susan & Serge in the pictures. Kim has been to Italy since her husband's side of the family is from the boot area. I guess that is what it is called. I asked Kim what her favorite part of the visit was about besides meeting Garrett's relatives, and that was the fresh food. She stated she just hated to leave because of the overall beauty and freshness of everything.
