Bastille Day!

The day before the holiday, in Masoque, the town put on a fireworks celebration. This was at le parc de drouille near the centre ville of Manosque. This was Seneca's first time seeing fireworks and she was a little scared. She still talks about it..."mommy, pireworks! boom!, i carde (scared), i cy (cry)"

The day of we went to a picnic with our church friends and then headed to Gap, about 1 hour from us, to catch the Tour de France.
Not the tour...ha! this was so funny I had to take a picture...it was hot and this guy was enjoying the stream. This was caught as we were walking towards the finish line.

The finish line is right where you see the sign "Vittel"
There is Lance Armstrong in red/gray
Lance's bike(s). Can't believe how many spares they have...

The day before Seneca wanted to paint so I let her paint with pudding...

Wow! You guys got so close to the action at the tour de France.

And I love those pictures of Seneca. She's so pretty- even covered in brown pudding! :)

Hey Mischa --

I am dying! We went to the tour, the day after you went. We almost went to Gap, but we hit it the next day instead. Talk about a beautiful place you live. Are you loving it? Hope everything is great, and your daughter is to die for! XOXO lindsey Denison
